When I looked for a solution, I found something that was expensive, heavy, and required wiring it to my motorcycle's battery. The CHW is inexpensive, (only $49.95) light weight, (only 3lbs.) and has elastic material that allows it to move with you and not constrict your movements.
The COOLHEATWRAP also has a duel purpose! Warming you in the winter and cooling you off in the summer. An added bonus is, if you have a sore back, just microwave the CHW (3-4 minutes), wear it over the sore area and it can help ease the pain.

I believe the CHW can be useful for anyone who has to endure harsh climates. From athlete's who are playing in weather that is 90 degrees or more, or in the freezing rain. Also to the family member or friend who is out to watch their favorite athlete play. I think it can help construction workers, Cal Trans, PG&E, Postal worker, delivery drivers, (such as UPS, Fed Ex, etc.) military, first aid workers (like Red Cross) or anybody that has to endure harsh or extreme temperatures.
The CHW is a great solution for anyone who wants to be active outdoors without being miserable.
COOLHEATWRAP
Hi! My name is Wayne Worstman and I am the inventor of the COOLHEATWRAP (CHW). It's job is to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The CHW is made up of an elastic material with mesh pockets which hold hot/cold gel packs that can be put in the freezer for cooling or microwaved for warmth. The gel packs are velcroed in for easy removal. The CHW fastens around your chest with Velcro straps.
I came up with the CHW during a long motorcycle ride in the middle of summer. In Redding, CA the temperature averages at over 90 degrees. Having my leather jacket, helmet, and gloves on in the heat, was needless to say, miserable. I enjoy riding but it wasn't fun. It is time to make riding fun again.
